Republican Debate: GOP Candidates Face Off In Arizona (LIVE UPDATES)

CNN is switching things from its previous six debates this cycle. Instead of standing at separate podiums, the four remaining candidates will be seated together at a table.

"For this debate, which could be the last debate, putting the candidates at the table in a more intimate setting could be a nice change of pace for our debates and could foster a slightly more

intimate conversation," debate producer Sam Feist told The Huffington Post on Wednesday.

Both Mitt Romney and Ron Paul may remember this particular table, having sat there during one of CNN's

Republican debates last time around.

"If Romney and Paul had etched their names in the table in 2008," Feist said, "they'd be able to see their initials again today."

HuffPost's Michael Calderone reports:

The Republican candidates saw a lot of each other in January, with six debates crammed into a frenetic 19-day stretch. But after leaving the stage in Jacksonville, Fla., Jan. 26, the candidates -- and political press corps -- split up and each campaign followed its own trajectory through states like Nevada, Maine and Michigan.

On Wednesday, the band is back together for the 20th -- and perhaps final -- Republican debate of the 2012 primary.
